Community Engagement

Credible, first-person, good-faith presence inside the communities where a client is being discussed — built patiently, over the long term.

What it is

Some rooms cannot be reached with a press release. The local group, the campaign meeting, the forum, the group chat — these are reached only by being in them. Community engagement is the discipline of being in them, credibly, and for as long as it takes.

We place patient, agreeable, first-person voices inside the communities where a client's story is being decided. They do not sell and they do not argue. They belong. And a familiar, trusted voice, in its own good time, is the most persuasive instrument there is.

How we work

  1. Map the rooms that matter — the groups, meetings, forums and chats where the view is really being formed.
  2. Establish a genuine, agreeable, familiar presence in each; unhurried, and never obviously ours.
  3. Build trust slowly — contributing, helping, listening — long before it is ever needed.
  4. When the moment comes, steer the room, by inches, toward the settled and sensible view.
